Position Summary

BHA is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Director (BCBA/LBA) to lead behavioral health services within our Community Living division. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical programming, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring individuals receive person-centered, evidence-based support that improves quality of life.


As a key member of the leadership team, you'll partner with Operations, Nursing, and Executive Leadership to drive clinical quality, compliance, and innovation across residential programs.


What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all clinical services within Community Living
  • Ensure high-quality implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop clinical team members
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and use data to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with BACB standards, state regulations, and organizational policies
  • Support crisis response and provide clinical guidance for complex behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification required
  • Active Missouri and/or Kansas licensure
  • Minimum 5 years of ABA experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in residential or intensive behavioral settings preferred

Starting Salary: Our compensation is competitive within the market. The starting rate for this position begins at $94,610.03 annually, with your final offer based on a combination of your education, relevant experience, and overall qualifications.
