Position Overview
The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing professional, high-quality bar service during private events, banquets, and member functions. This role requires a skilled and knowledgeable bartender who can craft cocktails, manage a full bar setup, and deliver a polished guest experience from the first pour to last call. Reporting to the Banquet Manager, you will be a key contributor to the overall success of each event.

Essential Responsibilities
- Set up and break down full bar stations including glassware, garnishes, ice, liquor, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings per event specifications.
- Craft cocktails, mix drinks, and pour wine and beer with consistency, accuracy, and presentation standards befitting a private country club.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the Club's beverage menu, signature cocktails, wine list, and specialty offerings.
- Attend pre-event briefings to review bar menus, guest counts, special requests, and service expectations.
- Greet and engage members and guests in a warm, professional manner delivering personalized service that reflects the Club's standards.
- Manage bar inventory during events tracking usage, maintaining par levels, and minimizing waste.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the event, including proper sanitization of tools and surfaces.
- Process drink orders efficiently during high-volume service periods without compromising quality or hospitality.
- Reset and fully restock the bar following each event to ensure readiness for the next function.
- Maintain reliable attendance and availability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a banquet, hotel, private club, or upscale restaurant setting.
- Strong working knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer, including proper pouring technique and cocktail preparation.
- TIPS Certification.
- Ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure during high-volume events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the full duration of a shift and work both indoor and outdoor events.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Compensation:
This position is part-time year-round offered at $20 per hour plus service charge pool.
- Sick pay up to 48 hours a year - accrued based on hours worked
