Description
This position is a full time, clinical position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Columbia, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing equipment and treatment areas for patient use.
- Consistently demonstrate a professional, empathetic, service-oriented delivery of healthcare to patients and their families
- Performing modalities such as applying hot pack, cold pack, e-stim, US, etc. as instructed.
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, as well as changing and laundering linens.
- Performing administrative tasks, including assisting with patient intake, answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
- Ability to deliver clear and professional communication within the workplace to patients and staff.
- Performing therapeutic modalities and/or exercise while under the supervision of a licensed clinician according to ethical/legal guidelines while knowing the precautions and contraindications.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience is a plus but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic
