approximately $50 million in annual revenue. We serve leading national and regional
customers and operate in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing environment.
Legacy is owned by Sunridge Partners, a UK-based private investment firm that acquired
the business in 2024. We are building a best-in-class finance and operational infrastructure
to support continued growth.
This is a high-visibility role offering direct mentorship from the CFO and exposure to
private-equity ownership, audit readiness, and operational finance transformation.
Position Summary
The Senior Staff Accountant will play a critical role in both:
1. Senior Staff Accounting & ; GAAP Responsibilities (approximately 50%)
2. Product Costing & Product Pricing (approximately 50%)

team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and support the business wherever
needed.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Staff Accounting & GAAP Responsibilities (50%)
- Lead and manage the monthly close process
- Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
- Perform detailed account reconciliations monthly
- Assist with preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements
- Support external audit and tax preparation processes
- Take ownership of designing, implementing, and documenting robust internal controls
across accounting and inventory processes
- Lead the development, formalization, and continuous improvement of accounting
policies and procedures to support a scalable, audit-ready organization
- Support lease accounting (ASC 842), revenue recognition, and inventory accounting
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide analytical support to CFO for Board and investor reporting
Product Costing & Product Pricing (50%)
- Own and maintain standard product costing models
- Ensure accuracy of BOMs, labor standards, and overhead allocations
- Analyze production variances (yield, labor, overhead, scrap, shrink)
- Partner with operations to improve costing accuracy and margin visibility
- Lead customer/product pricing analysis and margin modeling
- Support pricing strategy through cost transparency and profitability analytics
- Monitor inventory reserves and obsolescence
- Ensure inventory controls are functioning properly in ERP system
- Identify margin improvement opportunities through cost analysis
Cross-Functional & Team Responsibilities
- Support and backfill AR/AP functions when needed
- Respond to day-to-day information requests from CFO and leadership team
- Partner with operations, supply chain, and sales teams
- Assist with ERP system enhancements and reporting improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support the business wherever needed
Compensation and Work Environment
- Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
- Location: Chicagoland Suburbs- Elk Grove Village
- Manufacturing environment- in-office 5 days per week
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $95,000 (DOE)

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail and process discipline
Preferred:
? CPA (active or in progress)
? Experience with inventory accounting, product costing, and product pricing
? Strong is systems: manufacturing ERP system experience preferred
