Mile High Dental and Implant Centers is currently adding a full time Registered Dental Hygienist to our Lakewood location.  This is a Full-Time position offering a $2,000.00 sign-on-bonus. 

At Mile High Dental & Implant Centers, your dental team is all under one roof. In addition to offering general dentistry services like cleanings and fillings with our amazing Dental Hygienists, our on-site lab and imagining services mean you won’t have to drive around town to get the specialized dental services you need. Responsibilities

• Ensure are comfortable and educated through out their treatment regarding Oral Hygiene
• Sterilize dental instruments properly
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
• Educate patients on proper hygiene for their dental implants
• Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
• Take X-rays or CBCT
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
• Monitor supplies and stock operatories

Skills

• Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
• Outstanding communication skills
• A patient and friendly personality
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work at multiple locations
• Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene; Master’s is a plus
• Active Colorado RDH license
