Additional Responsibilities

  • Own documentation feedback loops and continuously improve clarity and usability.
  • Track documentation effectiveness and identify content gaps.
  • Support internal training and customer-facing enablement materials as needed.
  • Assist with documentation workflows tied to product release cycles and revision control processes.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of technical writing experience supporting complex hardware, electrical, or mechanical systems.
  • Experience documenting electrical distribution equipment such as PDUs, switchboards, UPS systems, modular power systems, or other mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, functional block diagrams, and control logic flows.
  • Proficiency with structured documentation tools (Markdown, Confluence, DITA/XML, Visio or diagramming tools, Adobe Suite).
  • Strong written communication skills with high attention to structure, process, and detail.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data center power systems, DCIM, SNMP, Modbus, REST APIs, firmware release documentation, and foundational electrical engineering concepts (kVA/kW, grounding, coordination principles).
