Description
- Answer the room service phone after no more than 3 rings
- Handle closing of guest transactions in room service, close out the register, and balance out cash for the shift as well as keeping cash funds secure at all times
- Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints
- Walk floors to complete tray pickups
- Use proper guidelines for taking and delivering orders
- Practice and observe all safety rules and regulations
- Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested
- Maintain and follow all cash handling procedures
- Ability to accurately use various office software
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
· Hearing, writing, typing.
· Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
· Other duties may be assigned.
· Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
· Must have a knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
· Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
· High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.
· Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
· CPR training and first aid training preferred.
· Additional language ability preferred.
