Your Impact
As a Production Supervisor, you’ll support the Production Supervisor and Chief in leading a team responsible for automotive salvage, recycling operations, and facility upkeep. You’ll ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity standards are met while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do as a Production Supervisor
- Promote a Safety First and Environmental Stewardship culture
- Hire, train, and develop Production Team Members
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards
- Manage daily production schedules and performance goals
- Oversee automotive salvage and recycling processes
- Operate heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, crushers, etc.) as needed
- Audit and record inventory levels to ensure accuracy
- Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance
- Collaborate with management to optimize workflow and process efficiency
- Work standard production hours (Monday–Friday), with occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays
Qualifications as a Production Supervisor
- Leadership or supervisory experience in production or industrial operations
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service excellence
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive parts and systems
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience operating industrial or heavy equipment
- Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Reliable transportation
- Automotive salvage or recycling experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
