Our resort is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to help lead the daily operations of our Housekeeping department and ensure every guest enjoys a perfectly prepared room.


What You’ll Do

As the central communication hub for the Housekeeping team, you will play a key role in creating a seamless and welcoming environment for our guests. Your responsibilities include:


Daily Operations & Room Assignment

  • Prepare daily staff assignment sheets and cleaning boards
  • Track and verify room status, resolve discrepancies, and prioritize cleaning
  • Ensure vacant rooms are cleaned on time
  • Monitor occupancy reports to anticipate daily demand

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
  • Handle guest and Front Desk requests promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate VIP services to ensure elevated guest experiences
  • Report delays, concerns, or maintenance needs to management

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain the DND list and complete essential daily reports
  • Close out the house each shift and communicate unresolved issues
  • Conduct monthly inventory and report damaged or missing property

Team Support & Administrative Assistance

  • Support staff by clarifying tasks and upholding grooming and uniform standards
  • Assist management with scheduling, payroll, ordering, training, and vendor coordination
  • Help ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused team operations
Requirements

Position Requirements

We're looking for someone who brings both experience and passion to the role:

  • 2+ years of housekeeping or guest services experience in hospitality
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow inspection standards
  • Basic analytical abilities to review reports and identify trends
  • Excellent communication, customer service, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and guest population
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, inspection tools, and guest feedback platforms

Salary Description
$22.00 per hour
