Description
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, skill development, community participation, and achievement of personal goals while promoting independence and dignity
- Assist with medication administration, medical appointments, implementation of behavior support plans, and maintenance of health-related records in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements
- Complete required reports, progress notes, and service documentation accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with agency standards and OPWDD regulations
- Assist with training, mentoring, and onboarding new employees, provide direction during shifts, and help ensure appropriate staffing coverage and supervision
- Partner with internal teams to help develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans that promote personal growth and meaningful outcomes
- Help oversee daily residence operations, including site safety inspections, fire drills, resident finances, scheduling support, and communication of important resident and staff information
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's of Bachelor's preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid New York State driver's license with at least 18 months of driving experience
Salary Description
$21.54 Hourly
