POSITION OVERVIEW:   

The Senior Sales and Product Line Manager is responsible for driving business growth and profitability within the Agricultural Business segment. This role focuses on proactively developing and strengthening strategic relationships with key accounts to increase sales, expand market share, and enhance overall account performance.


The individual serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction while identifying and capturing new business opportunities. Responsibilities include generating new business, managing and growing existing accounts, and developing and executing a comprehensive strategic growth plan for the product line.


Additionally, this position provides leadership and oversight to the customer service team, outside sales representatives, marketing efforts, and contracted sales personnel to ensure alignment with business objectives and successful execution of growth strategies.


This position reports to the Senior Director of Agriculture and Hydraulics. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.


      

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Development:
    Develop and drive the product strategy by creating a clear roadmap, aligning it with business goals, and executing effectively to achieve desired   outcomes.
  • Market and Customer Insight:
    Deep understanding of the end user is critical. Must be able to gather feedback from end users, dealers, and customers and translate real-world use cases into product requirements.
  • Account Development:
    Cultivate and grow relationships with both existing and prospective key accounts to drive long-term business opportunities and strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Customer Liaison:
    Serve as the primary point of contact between key customers and internal stakeholders at Quicke/JOST, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Customer Support & Resolution:
    Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly; coordinate with relevant departments to determine and implement corrective actions, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    Work closely and cooperatively with internal departments—including Operations, Product Management, Engineering, Logistics, and Marketing—to align efforts and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
  • Reporting & Insights:
    Prepare and present regular reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to the management team, offering insights into account performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Financial Performance:
    Accountable for the product line success; pricing strategy, margin targets, forecasting, managing life cycles, and cost control oversight for ROI on new products.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management:
    Identify customer requirements and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions that align with business objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Business Plan Execution:
    Contribute to the achievement of annual sales targets and strategic objectives as outlined in the business plan.
  • Accounts Receivable Support:
    Collaborate with the Accounting department to monitor and support the resolution of customer receivables and credit issues.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    Perform other tasks and special assignments as directed by the immediate manager in alignment with company goals.
Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Agricultural/tractor/loader   experience highly preferred
  • 3 - 5 years   direct industry sales experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience   preferred. 
  • Demonstrated   experience in B2B solution sales/consultative selling experience in a global, industrial field
  • Agricultural/tractor/loader   experience highly preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software and Warehouse Management System. (SAP, Movex)
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal organizational & commercial skills.
  • Ability to build strategic internal and external relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Broad experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within North America and Internationally.

     

Special Working Conditions:

 

Working conditions are normal for an office environment and non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility with extended

periods at a computer sitting or standing. Traveling to customers manufacturing and distribution sites. In the field at agriculture or construction sites may occur.
