Key Responsibilities:

- Perform  maintenance and repair of residential standby generators and associated systems

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues in generator units

- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance

- Test and verify generator functionality, including load testing and system calibration

- Provide clear communication and technical guidance to customers regarding system operation and maintenance

- Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed

- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting, preferably with residential generators or similar equipment

- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and control panels

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., EPA, HVAC, or electrical licenses) are preferred
