System Administrator, Salary Range 60k-80k  

This is a remote role but does require occasional in-office work and weekly travel to our colocation in Franklin, TN for backups.  Due to the nature of the job, the applicant must be located close to the Nashville/Franklin/Smyrna area.

As a System Administrator at Insequence, you’ll work with our CTO on special projects such as server upgrades and improvements to existing infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems. You will also be responsible for handling day-to-day IT operations as well as traveling to our colocation to perform backups weekly. This position also requires you to be on call for emergency IT issues.

Your responsibilities would include:  

Maintain networking, printing, VOIP service and server hardware in Smyrna office and Franklin colocation

Maintain AD, Office 365, TeamViewer, and Azure Devops accounts

Maintain IIS for internal applications

Maintain Ubiquity Dream Machine Security Access

Familiarity with virtualization, preferably Hyper-V

Keep all systems current on updates from servers to workstations

Maintain Inventory using an Asset Tracker

Maintain and enforce system and network security

Create and maintain backups for all systems including servers, databases, and source code

Work closely with management on issues and new projects

Maintain, Improve, and Create documentation for standard processes

24x7 On Call required for any system or network issues

Write SQLRS reports using Visual Studio and BI

Required Skills: 

Must have 3 years or more relevant experience

Ability to learn new hardware/software quickly

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The ideal candidate will also have: 

Bachelors’ Degree in related field (e.g. MIS, CIS, etc.) 

Industry standard certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSA, MCSE

Fast Learner and Problem Solver by nature
