Job Title: Cardinal Store Clerk
Reports To: Cardinal Store Manager
Summary: The Cardinal Store Clerk is responsible for selling school uniforms, spirit wear and concessions while providing pleasant customer service to those shopping in the store.
Requirements
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Welcome customers.
- Willing to start at 7:15 during the week
- Operate cash register; handle cash, checks, credit cards and RenWeb student accounts.
- Reconciliation of cash drawer with cash and media at the end of the day.
- Understanding of the products that are sold at the Cardinal Store
- Communicate knowledge of uniform requirements and sizing.
- Prepare and serve smoothie-type drinks and cookies for customers.
- Restock inventory as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and neat appearance of the store.
- Maintain North Richland Hills Food Handler Permit.
- Annual participation in counting store inventory levels.
Qualifications:
- Committed to living and teaching a life of service to Christ in accordance with the FWC Statement of Faith.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Have ability to work cash register and make change manually.
- Basic math skills.
- Friendly and customer service minded.
- Initiative to take care of needed tasks without being reminded.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to stand for a long period of time during shifts.
- Ability to lift and carry soft drinks and new inventory to be restocked.
