Description
DoubleTree by Hilton Augusta is looking for a service-driven and hands-on Front of House Supervisor to lead daily restaurant and bar operations while delivering the warm, welcoming hospitality our guests expect. This role is responsible for supervising front-of-house team members, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining service standards consistent with Hilton brand expectations.

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of servers, hosts, bussers, and bartenders during shifts.
- Ensure prompt, courteous, and professional service to all guests.
- Oversee table assignments, guest seating, and service flow for maximum efficiency.
- Assist in training, coaching, and evaluating staff performance.
- Monitor food and beverage presentation, portion control, and service quality.
- Address guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling, shift reports, and setup/breakdown.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper coordination of service and menu execution.
- Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be available for weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns with professionalism.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting tools.
- Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS) preferred.
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Assist with all functions of the F&B department to ensure guest satisfaction as directed.
- Ability to assist with various accounting and office tasks as needed.
- Attend required meetings.
