We’re growing fast and need an Event Marketing Coordinator who can support and elevate our presence at key conferences, industry events, and in-person activations. In this role, you’ll assist with the planning and execution of high-impact events that directly connect Recovery.com with treatment providers, recovery professionals, and key decision-makers. From national trade shows to smaller local gatherings, your work will help expand brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and deepen relationships in the recovery space. You’ll also support regional marketing efforts that amplify our reach and ensure our brand shows up consistently, memorably, and with impact.
Work Location
This is a hybrid Madison-based role. To be effective in this role, we would like you to work in our office in Madison on average 3 times per week.

We’ll expect you to do things like these
- Execute Recovery.com’s presence at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and community events in alignment with established marketing and revenue goals
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, including booth selection, vendor communication, staffing schedules, promotional materials, and on-site services
- Support contract coordination with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure accurate documentation and timely execution
- Track event budgets, invoices, and timelines to support smooth delivery and cost control
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue teams to align booth messaging, collateral, and event goals
- Capture, organize, and report on event performance metrics, including lead tracking, engagement data, and post-event follow-up insights
- Research and surface relevant industry events and sponsorship opportunities that align with team priorities
- Administer the company’s swag program, including platform management, inventory tracking, ordering, packing, and shipping for events and internal needs
- Provide on-site and operational support for Recovery.com-hosted events as needed
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing
- Proven experience supporting events end-to-end, including planning, execution, and post-event performance evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing events and timelines independently in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and adapting in a fast-paced environment

Travel Expectations
Once a year for company gatherings and approximately once per quarter to execute and support key industry events and conferences.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, plus eligible benefits. Compensation may be adjusted based on tenure and experience. For employees residing in Dane County, total annual compensation, including the housing stipend, is approximately $63,823–$73,823.
Dane County Housing Stipend
We strongly value in-person work and collaboration, so for full-time employees residing in Dane County, we offer a housing stipend of $735.26/month in addition to your salary ($8,823.12/yr; half of the Fair Market Value of a 2BR apartment in Madison according to rentdata.org).
Equity Options
In addition to your cash compensation, you will receive options to buy stock in Recovery.com at a set strike price. These options will vest on a four-year schedule and present an exciting opportunity to benefit from the upside of our company’s growth.
Quarterly Bonus
An additional 10% of base earnings is paid out quarterly when the company meets its revenue target.

Physical Requirements
- Sit down and operate a computer for extended periods of time
- Stand for extended periods during events
- Able to work in an open office environment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
