Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Autism Specialist, the ABA Therapy Program Coordinator coaches and develops mentee(s) to participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and provide the best comprehensive services possible to our children and families.


As an ABA Therapy Program Coordinator, you will:

Champion our integrity and effectively coach mentee(s) by providing customer service while exhibiting excellence through:

  • Service Delivery: Implement goals from the Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs), complete tasks and documentation and ensure alignment with therapeutic objectives. Maintain scheduled appointments and complete tasks assigned by identified deadlines with minimal supervision. (Excellence)
  • Client, Family, & Community Engagement: Develop rapport with families and children, involving family input and priorities in the therapy plan and home program. Increase community awareness, support and awareness through outreach. (Service) 
  • Data and Time Management: Maintain professional, accurate, and timely records and documentation. Meet industry best practices and ensure compliance with BACB’s Guidelines for RBTs. Communicate with supervisors regarding client and Behavior Technician (BT) needs. Effectively manage scheduling protocol modifications and perform administrative functions. (Leadership) 
  • Collaboration & Communication: Provide individualized training and feedback on implementation of ABA procedures to BT(s). Communicate effectively with supervisors and interdisciplinary teams to ensure positive clinical outcomes. Guide and coach mentee(s) in implementing interventions and best practices. (Celebration) 
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in and lead team development trainings to stay current with updated and individualized therapy plans. (Possibility)
  • Professional Responsibility: Adhere to code of conduct and company policies, review published communications, escalate concerns through chain of command, and ensure confidentiality. Other duties as assigned. (Integrity)


Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • RBT Certification maintained and in good standing.
  • At least 6 months of full-time experience in ABA therapy or other outpatient behavior services clinic.
  • CPR Certification maintained and in good standing.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification maintained and in good standing.

Work Environment:

  • Environment: Indoor and outdoor work environments
  • Safety Compliance & PPE Requirements: Adherence to safety protocols and protective gear use constantly. Mandatory use of Heartspring standard PPE, with additional protective gear (e.g., gloves, helmets, arm guards, leg guards) provided as needed.
  • Physical Interactions & Exposure Risks: Frequent exposure to physical interactions from clients, including slapping, hitting, punching, kicking, head-butting, and biting. Potential exposure to infectious diseases, parasites, bodily fluids, and blood-borne pathogens in a school and residential care setting.


Salary Description
$21.09-$30.36 Depending on Experience
