The Concrete Foreman is responsible for leading crews, planning and executing daily work, and ensuring all
concrete operations are performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role owns field execution and is
accountable for crew performance, jobsite safety, concrete quality, and labor productivity. Use of all company-required
tools & programs (both hardware and software) is required.
Crew Leadership
? Lead, manage, and hold accountable a crew of up to 10 concrete craftsmen
? Communicate daily work plans, schedules, and expectations
? Coordinate crew scheduling and work assignments
Production & Planning
? Plan and schedule labor, equipment, and materials to meet project budgets and schedules
? Provide look-ahead planning and schedule updates
? Ensure layout is verified before work begins
Quality & Safety
? Own jobsite safety and concrete quality control
? Ensure work is performed per plans, specifications, and company standards
? Prevent rework through proactive field oversight
Reporting & Communication
? Complete daily reports, inspections, and timekeeping
? Maintain professional, timely email communication
? Attend office and site meetings as required
Equipment & Assets
? Oversee crew truck and equipment condition
? Report and coordinate maintenance or repairs
Systems & Tools
? Use company-required tools and smart device platforms
Education, Skills & Experience:
? No education requirement, but any completed education proves your ability to learn.
? At least 5 years of successful experience in concrete construction and leadership.
Technical Skills & Experience:
? Ability to read and speak English
? US Government-issued driver’s license + ability to operate company vehicles.
? Ability to read, understand, and lead based on construction documents:
- Blueprints
- Shop Drawings
- Specifications
? Proficiency in all of the following skill sets, as determined by Aggregate Group:
- Rodbusting
- Concrete Finishing
- Carpentry / Formwork
