About the Job

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing all operational functions within Innovative Labs, with a strong focus on production, safety, quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership across Warehouse, Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation operations, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and scalable processes that support the company’s growth objectives. 


The VP of Operations partners closely with executive leadership to drive operational performance, mitigate risk, and uphold the highest standards of product quality, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety while delivering consistent value to customers.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide executive leadership for all operational functions including manufacturing, supply chain, inventory planning, and warehouse operations to ensure scalable, efficient operations that support company growth and deliver consistent value to customers 
  • Drive operational strategies that ensure reliable production timelines, consistent product quality, and scalable capabilities that strengthen customer partnerships and support long-term business growth 
  • Champion a strong safety-first culture across all facilities by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety standards while promoting proactive risk management and accountability 
  • Ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance by maintaining robust quality systems, GMP adherence, and sanitation standards that meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements 
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to develop and execute strategic, financial, and operational plans that drive productivity, margin improvement, and sustainable growth 
  • Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing operational leaders by establishing clear organizational structures, performance expectations, and accountability across departments
  • Oversee operational financial performance including capital investments, departmental budgets, and cost management while ensuring effective allocation of resources to support growth initiatives
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics across safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Quality, and Finance to align operational capabilities with customer demand, product development initiatives, and financial objectives 
  • Communicate operational performance and progress toward strategic goals through regular reporting to the CEO and participation in executive and board leadership meetings
  • Travel regularly to company facilities to ensure operational consistency, safety alignment, and quality standards across locations

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred 
  • 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations within manufacturing or regulated environments 
  • Demonstrated experience leading safety programs, quality systems, and regulatory compliance initiatives
