Part-time Night Custodian - School/Church

Compensation: $17 per hour plus some benefits

Position Summary:

ServiceFM LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Night Custodian to join our custodial team at a school/church facility in the Belmont area. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily custodial duties, including:
  • Sweeping, mopping (wet and dry), dusting, and vacuuming
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms, hallways, offices, cafeteria, and common areas
  • Emptying trash and picking up debris from the floors and grounds
  • Cleaning interior windows and doors
• Event setup and breakdown (e.g., furniture moves, assembly setups)
• Floor and carpet maintenance (especially during school breaks)
• Secure all buildings at the end of each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support weekend cleaning for scheduled events

Work Schedule:
Enjoy a consistent part-time schedule of 24+ hours per week with a supportive team and opportunities for additional hours.

• Weekday Evenings: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Rotating Sundays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (shared among a team of three)
• Occasional Saturdays: Advance notice provided for special events
• Extra Hours Available: Opportunities to extend shifts beyond 10:00 PM for events or additional cleaning needs

This role offers a reliable schedule with built-in flexibility and the chance to earn extra hours when available.

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred
• Consistent and reliable attendance, with strong punctuality
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed
• Must successfully pass a background check to work in a school environment
• Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling, and pushing
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service mindset
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Able to accurately track and log work hours using a smartphone or mobile device
