JOB TITLE: PPA PARTNERSHIP LIAISON

EMPLOYER: PROCUREMENT PROFESSIONALS ALLIANCE (PPA)

REPORTS TO: CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER

SALARY: 27

SUMMARY: $79,150-$94,975


The PPA Partnership Liaison supports the development and day-to-day coordination of PPA’s strategic 

and academic partnerships. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong partner 

relationships, coordinating partnership activities, tracking deliverables and timelines, and 

ensuring follow-through on partnership commitments. The Partnership Liaison works closely with 

internal staff and external partners to support engagement opportunities that strengthen PPA’s 

programming, events, research initiatives, and talent pipeline efforts.

This position is highly collaborative and detail-oriented, serving as a key point of contact for 

partnership communications, documentation, scheduling, and progress tracking.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partnership Agreements, Documentation, and Tracking

•     Draft MOUs and partnership agreements using PPA templates and standard terms.

•     Coordinate internal review and support redlines/negotiation follow-up with key stakeholders.

•     Maintain executed agreements, renewal dates, and deliverable tracking documentation.

Partnership Relationship Support and Coordination

•     Serve as the primary liaison for assigned partners and maintain regular communication.

•     Coordinate partner onboarding and recurring check-ins, including agendas, notes, and 

follow-ups.

•     Maintain partner records and provide internal updates on engagement and deliverables.

Deliverables, Tracking, and Reporting

•     Track partnership deliverables, milestones, and deadlines to ensure commitments are met on 

time and with high quality.

•     Maintain partnership trackers and dashboards

•     Support collection of partnership metrics and outcomes (e.g. participation, engagement, event 

feedback)

•     Flag risks, delays, or gaps early and coordinate follow-up with internal teams and partners 

to resolve issues.

•     Assists with drafting partnership status updates and internal reviews for leadership reviews.

Program, Event, and Engagement Support

•     Coordinate logistics and partner involvement for partnership-related activities such as 

webinars, forums, conferences, roundtables, and workforce development initiatives.

•     Support pre-event planning, onsite coordination, and post-event follow-up including

speaker con?rmations, presentation materials, and post-event surveys.


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

•     Education

o Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or related ?eld.

•     Experience

o 3-4 years of professional experience communications, marketing or related ?eld.

o Preferred: Experience at a start-up organization.

o Preferred: Basic understanding of procurement.

o Demonstrated experience owning CRM-driven communications (HubSpot strongly preferred), including 

segmentation, work?ow-based messaging, and performance tracking.

•     Quali?cations

o Experience with email building, tracking, and reporting platforms.

o Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

o Time management skills; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and projects.
