As a Personal Financial Consultant I you will:

  • Process cash and non-cash transactions such deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments. 
  • Demonstrate effective cash handling skills, maintain cash controls and adhere to all balancing standards and expectations.
  • Process address change requests; refer to other team members or submit service requests for higher level maintenance, research, or complex situations, when appropriate.
  • Meet or exceed sales and referral goals by actively cross-selling credit union products or services and submitting quality referrals to internal and external partners, as appropriate. 
  • Grow and maintain credit union knowledge and utilize appropriate resources to ensure accurate information is provided to members.  
  • Complete all required training including online and in-person classes. 
  • Work interactively with other team members to promote unity and consistency.  
  • Support other team members towards the attainment of branch/department/organizational goals, in addition to personal/professional goals.

Requirements
  • Requires education equivalent to a four-year high school education or general education degree (GED).  
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or cash handling experience is strongly preferred.  
  • Education equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.  
  • Professional interpersonal skills, ability to take direction and use sound judgment are essential.
  • Basic computer and math skills are required.  
  • Experience with smart phones and tablet applications is preferred.
