Keuka College seeks two Regional Partnership Directors to serve as the College’s primary on-the-ground representatives in Vietnam. One position will be based at Vietnam National University – International School (VNU-IS) in Hanoi, overseeing partnerships in northern Vietnam, and the other at the University of Economics and Finance (UEF) in Ho Chi Minh City, overseeing partnerships in southern Vietnam. These positions are critical to maintaining and strengthening the College’s presence in one of its most important international markets. 

The Regional Partnership Director is a higher education administration generalist who serves as a bridge between Keuka College and its Vietnamese partner institutions. The role encompasses relationship management, student recruitment support, program development, faculty coordination, and community building. The ideal candidate is a proactive, culturally fluent professional who can navigate the complexities of international higher education partnerships with diplomacy and initiative. 

 

This position is employed through our Employer of Record partner in Vietnam. Candidate information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. This role is offered as an indefinite-term contract. 



Essential Responsibilities Partnership & Relationship Management 


Partnership & Relationship Management 

  • Serve as Keuka College’s primary liaison to partner universities within the assigned region (northern or southern Vietnam), cultivating strong, productive working relationships with administrators, faculty, and staff 
  • Maintain regular communication between partner institutions and Keuka College leadership, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they escalate 
  • Represent the College at institutional events, ceremonies, and official functions at partner campuses 
  • Assess the health of existing partnerships through regular check-ins, reporting on program enrollment, delivery of student learning and support, and operations 
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective partner institutions in the region 

Student Recruitment & Enrollment Support 

  • Partner with admissions teams at each partner university to support recruitment of students into Keuka College degree programs 
  • Organize and facilitate recruitment events, including class sit-in opportunities for prospective students, open houses, and information sessions 
  • Plan and execute academic competitions and related recruitment activities, understanding and leveraging their significance in the Vietnamese higher education recruitment landscape 
  • Develop and maintain recruitment materials tailored to the local market, coordinating with Keuka College's and the partner institution's marketing and communications teams on messaging and branding 
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to the Dean of International Programs and the Office of Admissions on pipeline activity and enrollment trends 
  • Work with partner university staff and the College’s Office of Records and Registration to ensure accurate record keeping, adherence to policies and procedures, and timely information sharing related to enrollment, billing, and graduation  

Community Building & Student Experience 

  • Build and foster a sense of community among Keuka College students and faculty at partner campuses, creating a cohesive institutional identity despite geographic distance 
  • Organize co-curricular programming, networking events, and student engagement activities that reinforce connection to Keuka College’s mission and values 
  • Serve as an accessible resource and point of contact for currently enrolled Keuka College students at partner institutions 
  • Support the Keuka College exchange program by identifying and encouraging qualified candidates and assisting with logistics 
  • Review and maintain student handbooks in conjunction with academic divisions and departments  

Faculty Support & Coordination 

  • Assist with the recruitment of qualified local faculty to teach in Keuka College programs at partner institutions 
  • Coordinate the logistics of welcoming visiting Keuka College faculty to partner campuses, including orientation to the campus, the city, Vietnamese academic culture 
  • Provide practical support for faculty transitions, including guidance on visas, housing, transportation, local services, and College policies and procedures  
  • Facilitate communication between visiting and local faculty to promote collaboration and program coherence 

Program Development & Strategic Growth 

  • Identify opportunities for new academic programs at existing partner institutions based on market demand, student interest, and institutional capacity 
  • Conduct market research on higher education trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the assigned region 
  • Support the College’s executive leadership in the development of memoranda of understanding, program agreements, and related documentation for new partnerships or program expansions 
  • Contribute to the College’s strategic planning for international programs through on-the-ground insights and recommendations 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 
  • Business-level fluency in English (written and spoken) 
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in higher education, international education, partnership management, or a related field 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships across cultural and institutional boundaries, both in-person and virtually  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently 
  • Willingness to reside in-country at the assigned location (Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City) 
  • Legal authorization to work in Vietnam, or willingness and ability to obtain appropriate work authorization 
  • Standard Vietnamese office hours with flexibility required for events, recruitment activities, and coordination across time zones with Keuka College’s main campus (EST/EDT) 
  • Occasional travel within Vietnam to visit other partner institutions and attend recruitment events 
  • Periodic travel to the United States for institutional meetings, professional development, and strategic planning sessions 

Preferred 

  • Master’s degree in business administration, higher education administration, international education, or a related field 
  • Vietnamese language proficiency 
  • Experience working in or with Vietnamese higher education institutions 
  • Familiarity with the Vietnamese higher education recruitment landscape, including the role of academic competitions in student recruitment 
  • Prior experience with international partnership development or program management 
  • Knowledge of U.S. higher education accreditation standards, practices, and government regulations around international education
