Description

What your day looks like.

  • Perform maintenance on all plumbing, electrical and HVAC building systems
  • Maintain heaters, centrifugal chillers, heat pumps, pumps, air distribution systems, cooling towers, BAS as required to maintain the building
  • Monitor and adjust all mechanical / electrical equipment, boilers / chillers, BAS controls, distribution panels, valves, thermostats, diffusers, pumps, VFD drives and other equipment necessary to provide a comfortable environment for the buildings
  • Identify and perform preventive maintenance duties, including changing filters, greasing motors, replacing lamps and ballasts, inspecting / adjusting belts, replacing bearings, aligning shafts and annual inspections
  • Inspect and log boiler/chiller room equipment, fan equipment, cooling towers, all motors, house pumps and sump pumps
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate and make recommendations to improve building systems and operations and / or implement energy savings opportunities
  • TRANE BAS Control experience a plus
  • Identify and coordinate preventative maintenance or repairs to building life safety, sprinklers, emergency power and roof systems
  • Oversee the fulfillment of equipment warranty obligations by the installer

Requirements

What sets you apart.

  • 3+ Years of Building Maintenance Experience
  • HVAC design or technical school training preferred
  • Thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical and building automation systems
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics
  • CFC/EPA Certification encouraged
  • Valid Driver’s License is required
  • Physical requirements to include stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pump, tools, ladders) and ability to safely utilize a mechanical lifting device


Salary Description
$60,000-$90,000
