Description
Adamas Building Services is seeking a reliable and skilled Temporary Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance operations at assigned properties. This role is responsible for ensuring that facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to residents, tenants, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems and identify maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to service requests and maintenance issues
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment
- Support building operations staff with special projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Document completed work orders and report any major issues to management
Requirements
Qualifications
- Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends or emergencies if needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and climbing
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
