Job Summary:

The Hot Kitchen Production Associate is responsible for preparing, cooking, and handling food products in a fast-paced production environment. This role ensures all food is cooked according to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes and production schedules 
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, kettles, and mixers safely 
  • Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper cooking and food safety compliance 
  • Follow portion control and quality standards 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations 
  • Assist with ingredient prep, including cutting, measuring, and mixing 
  • Label and store food properly following FIFO (First In, First Out) 
  • Follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP guidelines 
  • Complete production and temperature logs accurately 
  • Work with team members to meet daily production goals 
Requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen or food production experience preferred 
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices 
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
  • Reliable and punctual 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
  • Ability to work in hot environments 
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motions 

Work Environment:

  • Hot kitchen / food production facility 
  • Exposure to high temperatures, steam, and kitchen equipment 
  • Fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
