AM Line Cook – Tago Pegaso (Texas)

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Full Time AM Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help set the tone for a successful day of service.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, prep lists, and food safety standards 
• Set up and stock your station for morning and early service, ensuring readiness for the day 
• Assist with daily prep production (sauces, proteins, produce, etc.) to support all shifts 
• Label, date, and properly rotate all food items (FIFO standards) 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation throughout your shift 
• Follow opening procedures and communicate any maintenance or product needs to management 
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations 
• Uphold all company policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–2+ years of kitchen experience preferred (prep or line experience) 
• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety 
• Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 
• Strong attention to detail and organization 
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 
• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills 
• Spanish language skills are a plus 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time 
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs 
• Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment 
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
