Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (with some flexibility required)


Bristol Adult Resource Center (BARC) is a private, non-profit organization supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a Director for our administration office. The Director of Administrative Services works with the Executive Director and management team members as a professional liaison between the agency, individuals, families, membership, and the public/private agencies served by the non-profit. Ensures the Executive Director is kept fully informed on administrative issues. Leads a team of administrative personnel and is responsible for their supervision and deliverables.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in management, non-profit management, human resources, human services or a related field.
  • At least five years working practical management experience in health care or not for profit agencies.
  • Supervisory and management experience.
  • Experience in human resources, community organization, public relations, marketing, equipment/facilities management and computerized systems.
  • Capacity to support programs and services.
  • Experience in leading professional and volunteer workers or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Maintain work relationships among all levels of the organization, individuals served, families, and other providers or services in a professional manner.
  • Provide safe and nurturing environment where Individuals are treated with dignity and respect, can exercise their rights and responsibilities and are protected from abuse or neglect.
  • Obtain and maintain all required certifications and trainings (in person and online).
  • Willing and able to complete all essential responsibilities and other duties as assigned. 
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Salary Description
Annual Salary 68,500.00
