F&I MANAGER

Overview

The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager plays a central role in the RV sales process by helping customers secure financing, selecting protection products, and completing all required documentation with accuracy and compliance. This position blends customer service, sales, and regulatory expertise to ensure a smooth, transparent, and profitable transaction experience.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Guide customers through financing options, extended service plans, insurance products, and protection packages.
  • Present F&I products in a clear, value-focused way that builds trust and supports dealership profitability.
  • Maintain a customer-first approach while meeting product penetration and revenue goals.

Finance & Documentation

  • Secure financing through a network of lenders, ensuring competitive terms and timely approvals.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize all loan, title, and registration documents with complete accuracy.
  • Ensure all contracts are error-free and submitted promptly to lenders and internal accounting.

 

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Follow all federal, state, and dealership policies, including privacy laws, lending regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., Red Flags, OFAC, FTC guidelines).
  • Maintain secure handling of sensitive customer information.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and dealership compliance requirements.

Dealership Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales teams to support deal structure, maximize gross profit, and ensure a seamless handoff from sales to F&I.
  • Communicate lender programs, rate changes, and approval conditions to the sales team.
  • Support management with reporting, forecasting, and process improvements.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous experience in automotive or RV F&I, lending, or related finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of financing, credit, and insurance products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Preferred

  • RV dealership experience.
  • Certification in F&I (AFIP or similar).
  • Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) and electronic contracting platforms.
