The Waste Sorting Associate is responsible for sorting plastic materials and general waste in a fast-paced environment. This role requires continuous movement and attention to detail to ensure proper separation of recyclable and non-recyclable materials. The position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, cleanliness, and environmental compliance within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort plastic materials and general waste items accurately according to company guidelines
• Continuously move along sorting lines or designated areas to keep up with workflow
• Identify and separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable waste
• Remove contaminants from sorting streams to maintain quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
• Report any hazards, equipment issues, or irregularities to supervisors

Pay Rate : $14.50/Hour

Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods
• Capable of lifting, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
