We are seeking a Vice President, Syndications, who is a relationship-driven, strategic professional to join our Syndications team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned investor accounts, lead client relationships, manage deal pipelines, and coordinate upper-tier closings. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building and maintaining investor relationships, and brings both strong financial acumen and execution discipline.


What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned investor accounts 
  • Understand investor investment needs and objectives to develop and manage deal pipelines 
  • Lead client calls, coordinate site visits, and manage due diligence meetings 
  • Travel to conferences, site visits, and investor events to strengthen relationships 
  • Develop and deepen investor pipelines and long-term partnerships 
  • Partner with Originations to source and place deals with investors 
  • Negotiate financial terms in coordination with the Managing Director or the EVP for equity LOIs and upper-tier agreements 
  • Represent investors within CREA Investment Committees, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and risk mitigation 
  • Collaborate with Acquisitions, Legal, and internal teams to incorporate investor-specific terms into closing documents 
  • Facilitate investor review of due diligence materials for deal and fund closings 
  • Coordinate upper-tier closings with internal teams, investors, and external counsel 
  • Manage and mentor Financial Analysts assigned to investor accounts 
  • Provide guidance, review, and approval of analyst work 
  • Support career development through quarterly and annual performance processes 
  • Coordinate third-party property reviews for multi-investor funds and other investor structures (as applicable) 
  • Support broader team initiatives and assist colleagues as needed 
  • Perform other duties by the Managing Director or EVP
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, economics, or a related business field 
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional LIHTC syndication and/or LIHTC transactional closing experience 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings, site visits, and industry events 
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak periods to meet deadlines and business needs

Compensation: 

Compensation for this position is determined based on factors such as education, qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location. The salary range for this role in Boston, MA is $143,000 to $240,000, with a midpoint of $193,000.
