The Archdiocese of Denver is seeking a reliable, organized, and mission-driven Office Manager to support the Office of Vocations. This role oversees daily operations, ensuring efficient workflows and a professional, welcoming environment, while working closely with the Director of Vocations.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Office Operations & Administrative Support: Manage daily office functions, coordinate the Director’s communications and schedule, serve as a key liaison to the seminary, maintain organized records, and oversee updates to the department webpage.
  • Seminarian Support & Coordination: Provide follow-up with vocation prospects, manage seminarian files and applicant screening with discretion, and coordinate financial aid requests and reimbursements in alignment with established guidelines.
  • Program & Event Coordination: Plan and execute retreats and summer programs, managing logistics, travel, and communications while ensuring all details are carried out with excellence and care.
  • Budgeting & Financial Administration: Support budget development and oversight by tracking expenses, processing payments, and managing receipts and billing.
  • Compliance & Relationship Management: Ensure accurate tracking and distribution of formation documentation, maintain compliance with diocesan and legal requirements, and cultivate strong relationships with internal leaders and external partners.

What We’re Looking For

  • Be a fully initiated Catholic in communion of the Catholic Church and intentionally loving out the five precepts of the Church (CCC 2041 – 2043).
  • Align with the values and mission of the Catholic Church in an Apostolic Age.
  • Strong commitment to Catholicism and the New Evangelization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
  • 5+ years of administrative support experience, ideally in an office, nonprofit, or similar professional environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SharePoint, and Teams required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Availability: Expected to work or coordinate volunteers for weekend events throughout the year (approximately 20 weekends annually, typically one day per weekend), with occasional evening commitments as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to parishes and event locations.
