National Able Network has an immediate opportunity for a service-oriented professional who will be a facilities manager. Responsible for the overall management, maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the Center facilities. Ensures a clean, safe, and fully functional environment for staff and visitors by overseeing building systems, building vendor services, preventative maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance for the building.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily facilities operations and maintenance of all building systems.
- Conducts routine inspections of interior/exterior spaces, including mechanical areas and grounds.
- Manages HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems for efficiency and cost control.
- Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs.
- Coordinates repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
- Manages building vendor contracts and service providers.
- Ensures compliance with OSHA, fire codes, and safety regulations.
- Oversees cleanliness standards throughout the facility.
- Coordinates space planning and event setup.
- Manages Safety Committee meetings and follow-up activities.
- Oversees building security protocols and opening/closing procedures.
- Maintains reports, logs, and compliance documentation.
- Oversees inventory and procurement of facility supplies.
- Maintains strong customer service focus.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of building systems, OSHA regulations, and safety compliance.
- Ability to assess risks and trouble shoot facility issues.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts and budgets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or building operations.
- Experience managing vendor contracts and facility projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to regularly lift fifty pounds, occasionally lift seventy-five pounds, and assist in lifting objects in excess of seventy-five pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, and navigate all areas of the facility.
