Description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Restaurant Server to join our front-of-house team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a positive and seamless dining experience from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate brings genuine hospitality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As guest-facing staff, servers must maintain a professional and cheerful attitude at all times.


The Club at Rolling Hills is nestled into South Table Mountain in Golden, Colorado. Our wonderful facilities and beautiful front range location make the Club one of the premier private Clubs in the Denver Metro area. While the setting is outstanding, the pride and joy of our Club is our membership and staff. The right candidate must maintain a cheerful attitude and always present themselves in a professional manner.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests warmly, present menus, and provide knowledgeable information on daily specials, ingredients, and menu items.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Deliver orders promptly and monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, including proactive beverage refills and table check-ins.
  • Utilize thorough menu knowledge to suggest pairings, appetizers, desserts, and other upsells to enhance the guest experience.
  • Address guest concerns, complaints, or order errors professionally and in a timely manner to ensure a positive resolution.
  • Prepare checks, process payments, and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including bussing tables between guests.
  • Complete assigned side work such as rolling silverware, restocking condiments, and resetting stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, hosts, bussers, and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations in accordance with local laws and establishment policy.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or customer service environment preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities to manage multiple tables simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for 6-8+ hours per shift and lift trays weighing up to 25-50 lbs.
  • Basic math proficiency for handling cash and calculating change.
  • Proficiency with POS systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid food handler’s card or alcohol service certification (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS, or Smart Serve) as required by local law.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fine dining, private club, or upscale casual dining environment.
  • Knowledge of wine, craft cocktails, or specialty beverages.
  • Familiarity with allergen awareness and dietary accommodation practices.
Salary Description
$22.00-$30.00 per hour
