About the Role:

The Case Processing Supervisor manages case processing and administrative support services to facilitate the timely and effective processing of employer applications for government programs. The position requires an in-depth knowledge of the appropriate application of laws, regulations, polices, and program procedures, and the ability to ensure a team maintains minimum production levels while providing accurate and timely work.


Security Clearance:

Must possess (or be able to obtain) a Federal public trust clearance.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Ensure that assignments are made to staff under their supervision in a timely manner and consistent with efficient processing.
  • Review staff performance results at least weekly against quality and performance standards, and take steps to address and correct any shortfalls.
  • Review and provide feedback on staff work products prior to submission to the federal staff or publication to stakeholders. Confirm that work products are consistent with case documentation and regulations, that the case file is complete and free of errors and omissions and that all correspondence, case summaries, case notes, and other communications are clearly written and free of errors.
  • Ensure that the government goals and objectives are communicated to the team.
  • Lead the team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
  • Adjust workload assignments in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks, while ensuring that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product.
  • Train or arrange for the training of team members as required or needed.
  • onitor, document and report work progress and overall case status to the Project Manager.
  • Maintain current program and administrative procedures and be knowledgeable of changes in procedures and practices.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information; and coordinate the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information to the Project Manager.
  • Report to the Project Manager periodically on team and individual work performance and accomplishments, problems, progress in mastering tasks and work processes, and individual and team training needs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for each team member orally and in writing every six months for the first two years of contract performance and at least annually thereafter.
  • Make recommendations to the Project Manager regarding the performance and retention of individual staff members based on established performance ratings.
  • Perform case processing and/or administrative support duties when needed.
Requirements

 Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

            and

  • 3 years of work experience that demonstrates Analytical and Communication skills and 
  • 2 years of Supervisory experience 

            or

  • 8 years of work experience that demonstrates Analytical and Communication skills and 
  • 2 years of Supervisory experience
  • Analytical/Communication and Supervisory experience may be concurrent
