Description
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing menu items with consistency, quality, and efficiency. This role works as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

- Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
- Frequent use of hands and arms for chopping, stirring, lifting, and plating
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (e.g., boxes, food supplies, equipment)
- Repetitive motions such as cutting, slicing, and reaching
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead regularly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment (hot stoves, grills, and ovens)
- Ability to safely handle sharp tools and kitchen equipment
- Tolerance for loud noise levels and crowded workspaces
- Quick reflexes and coordination to move safely in a busy kitchen
