SUMMARY OF COMPANY

Energy Alloys Global  Solutions, a BioUrja Group company, is a global distributor of corrosion  resistant steel and chromium alloy metals to the oil and gas industry.  Our main products include mechanical tubes, OCTG tubes, casing and  coupling stock, bars, liners, and semi-finished alloy products, all of  which are available for immediate shipment. We carry Chrome, Nickel,  Stainless Steel, Duplex, Alloys, and Titanium of various sizes in stock.  Energy Alloys Global Solutions also provides complete OD and ID  machining, heat treating, straightening and cut-to-length services.

JOB SUMMARY

The  Scheduler/Logistics Coordinator is responsible for developing,  coordinating, and executing distribution and logistics plans across  multiple facilities and customer locations. This role ensures optimized  inventory utilization, efficient transportation scheduling, and seamless  flow of materials through the supply chain. The position requires close  collaboration with production, warehousing, procurement, and commercial  teams to support on time delivery and operational efficiency.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Distribution & Planning

  • Develop,  maintain, and execute daily and long term distribution schedules to  meet production plans, customer requirements, and sales commitments.
  • Optimize supply planning by aligning inventory levels with demand forecasts, lead times, and plant capacity.
  • Coordinate distribution requirements between facilities and cross functional teams, ensuring timely movement of materials.

Logistics & Transportation Management

  • Manage  logistics operations across multiple transportation modes, including  truckload, LTL, flatbed, intermodal, and—when applicable—international  freight.
  • Schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring  accurate documentation, compliance with DOT and international shipping  regulations, and carrier performance expectations.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve freight delays, shortages, or disruptions.
  • Partner with carriers, freight brokers, and 3PL providers to secure capacity and negotiate cost effective logistics solutions.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving calendars while coordinating dock availability and workflow.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Serve  as the primary resource for inventory management, collaborating with  warehouse teams to monitor stock levels, cycle counts, replenishments,  and product movements.
  • Identify and communicate supply risks,  capacity constraints, or material shortages, proposing solutions to  minimize operational impacts.
  • Track material flow from production through delivery, ensuring data accuracy within ERP and scheduling systems.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, sales, procurement, and quality teams to support scheduling needs and customer commitments.
  • Provide regular updates on distribution KPIs, logistics performance, inventory availability, and schedule adherence.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within scheduling, logistics, and supply chain workflows.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, logistics or related from an accredited college or university.
  • 3-6 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Prior experience with scheduling.
