Bolt Action Builder Job Summary
As a Bolt Action Builder at Stiller Actions, you will help build premium custom bolt actions with precision and care. You'll work with a team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement, supporting shop maintenance and contributing to a safe, efficient production environment.
Bolt Action Builder Responsibilities
- Assemble premium bolt actions and perform custom gunsmithing projects and repairs
- Learn and manage inventory components needed for each product
- Assemble small components and accessories with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
- Participate in hands-on production of bolt actions
- All other duties assigned by management

- Willingness to learn under a mentor’s direction
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to follow standard work procedures for consistent quality

- Eagerness to improve productivity and craftsmanship
- Natural curiosity and interest in firearms
Bolt Action Builder Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- High regard for firearms safety
- Mechanically inclined with strong manual capabilities
- Appreciation for custom bolt action aesthetics and functionality
- Background in firearms or interest in the outdoors preferred
- Knowledge of the firearms industry is a plus
- Must sign non-compete and non-disclosure agreements
- Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs
- Must have a clean 5-year driving record
Work Environment
Work occurs in both indoor and outdoor settings, often in loud or varying weather conditions; facility is climate-controlled. Exposure to fumes or airborne particles may occur.
