Bolt Action Builder Job Summary

As a Bolt Action Builder at Stiller Actions, you will help build premium custom bolt actions with precision and care. You'll work with a team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement, supporting shop maintenance and contributing to a safe, efficient production environment.

Bolt Action Builder Responsibilities

• Assemble premium bolt actions and perform custom gunsmithing projects and repairs
• Learn and manage inventory components needed for each product
• Assemble small components and accessories with precision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
• Participate in hands-on production of bolt actions
• All other duties assigned by management

• Willingness to learn under a mentor’s direction

• Ability to follow standard work procedures for consistent quality

• Eagerness to improve productivity and craftsmanship
• Natural curiosity and interest in firearms

Bolt Action Builder Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• High regard for firearms safety
• Mechanically inclined with strong manual capabilities
• Appreciation for custom bolt action aesthetics and functionality
• Background in firearms or interest in the outdoors preferred
• Knowledge of the firearms industry is a plus
• Must sign non-compete and non-disclosure agreements
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs
• Must have a clean 5-year driving record

Work Environment

Work occurs in both indoor and outdoor settings, often in loud or varying weather conditions; facility is climate-controlled. Exposure to fumes or airborne particles may occur.

• Standing, walking, or sitting up to 10 hours per day (67%-100%)
