VEZA Manufacturing is a leading contract manufacturer specializing in wire harness and cable assembly solutions, focused on operational excellence, high-quality products, and building a performance-driven culture. We are seeking a hands-on Controller who leads through people—developing leaders, driving accountability, and leveraging Lean methodologies to achieve world-class performance.


We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the financial operations for VEZA’s Morgan Hill, CA facility, with a strong emphasis on cost accounting and inventory control. This role is responsible for all plant-level financial activities, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management across one or more sites. As a key member of the leadership team, the Controller will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and engineering to drive profitability, improve operational efficiency, and ensure accurate, timely financial insights that support data-driven decisions in a high-mix, electronics manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations for the site, including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, and payroll coordination.

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes; prepare accurate and timely financial reports.

• Analyze financial results, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights to plant leadership.

• Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes in collaboration with corporate finance.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.

• Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering to identify cost savings opportunities.

• Monitor and improve standard costing systems and product margin reporting.

• Support audits and implement process improvements across financial operations.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus)

• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory management, and manufacturing KPIs

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
