Description
Makers Air is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Part-Time Reservation Agent to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. As the first point of contact for our passengers, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring every passenger enjoys a smooth booking experience. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced aviation environment and enjoys providing high-touch, personalized service.
Type: Part-Time.
Schedule: Friday - Sunday OR Friday- Monday
Location: Onsite – Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE)
$200 Sign-on Bonus
What You’ll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Greet passengers upon arrival and ensure a welcoming experience.
- Manage incoming calls and online inquiries for flight reservations.
- Provide accurate information regarding schedules, fares, policies, baggage, and services.
- Create, update, and manage reservations with a high degree of accuracy.
- Process payments, issue confirmations, and assist with itinerary changes or cancellations.
- Coordinate with pilots, freight personnel, and customer service team members to ensure seamless passenger experiences.

- Assist with ticketing, baggage handling documentation, and applicable fees.
- Walk guests to aircraft on the tarmac as needed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in hospitality, aviation, or the travel industry preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Aviation, Travel & Tourism, Business, or related field a plus.
- Knowledge of travel to the Bahamas and Out Islands preferred.
- Experience with aviation reservation systems strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with freight, logistics, passenger services, or reservations operations a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage fares, fees, and related transactions.
- Sound judgment and critical thinking skills in time-sensitive situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); additional languages a plus.
- Knowledge of FAA and TSA regulations, or willingness to learn.
- Comfortable learning new systems and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule Requirements
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Full-time, onsite position based at Makers Air (FXE).
- Exposure to outdoor elements when escorting passengers on the tarmac.
