Job Summary
The Anodizing department is responsible for processing aluminum extrusions through chemical baths and finishing lines to achieve required coatings, colors, and corrosion resistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Fasten and secure aluminum parts onto racks (bars) for anodizing
- Monitor anodizing tanks, chemical levels, temperatures, and process times
- Perform quality checks on coating thickness, color consistency, and finish
- Safely handle chemicals in accordance with OSHA and company standards
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of tanks and equipment
- Identify and report defects or process issues
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in anodizing, plating, or industrial finishing preferred
- Ability to follow detailed process instructions and safety protocols
- Basic math and measurement skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in hot, humid, and chemical-processing environments
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Wear PPE including hard hats, gloves, and face shields
