Education Programs Coordinator
Description

ADLM, a DC-based dynamic, international scientific/medical society of clinical laboratory professionals, physicians, and research scientists focused on clinical chemistry and related disciplines, is seeking an Education Programs Coordinator. The Education Programs Coordinator reports to the Associate Director, Education Programs, and provides support for ADLM’s live and digital learning activities. The Coordinator interfaces regularly with ADLM staff within professional education and across departments as well as with members, sponsors, and other experts in the field of laboratory medicine to provide customer service and support for the Association’s robust in-person and digital education portfolio.


Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Work closely with the Associate Director, Education Programs, and Senior Manager, Digital Learning to manage timelines and deliverables for in-person and digital education programs, including the annual meeting, webinars, and certificate programs.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating planning committee and program sponsor activities.
  • Request and track all required documentation from sponsors, faculty, and speakers.
  • Assist in design, deployment, and customer support for educational content submissions.
  • Provide excellent and prompt customer service for education program participants.
  • Post and maintain online information about education programs.
  • Assist with implementation of accreditation and other professional education requirements.
  • Assemble post-activity reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support live education programs, including serving as the technical host for webinars and on-site support staff at the annual meeting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and one to two years of related work experience or additional work experience in lieu of degree. 
  • One or more years’ experience in a professional or trade association is      preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and follow-thorough.
  • Ability to manage detail-oriented work while tracking multiple moving parts.
  • Ability to independently set, manage, and meet priorities under changing      conditions.
  • Familiarity with in-person conferences and/or webinar platforms is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is highly desired.
  • Experience learning and using web-based platforms is highly desired.
  • Experience supporting volunteer groups is preferred.

ADLM currently is working a hybrid office schedule with staff coming into the office one day a week with the ability to work remotely from home up to four days a week.  


Hourly salary: $31.91 per hour
