Description

POSITION SUMMARY:  Manufacturing leaders plan, organize, and establish a recommendation for manufacturing strategies. They make sure that products are successfully developed based on the specifications. You will be a key part of our team with elevated responsibility for our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on position that requires you to have computer and machine knowledge.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (the following in only a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties)

· Ensure work procedures are being followed and expedite workflow.

· Issue written and oral instructions.

· Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

· Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of workers.

· Maintain harmony among workers.

· Assist employees with work process problems.

· Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

· Work with Manufacturing Manager on continuous improvement projects.

· Trouble shoot errors to eliminate the possibility of occurring again.

· Contribute to the daily output of the department.

· Communication and teamwork within and outside the department.

· Supervise the manufacturing process.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Experience

· 3-5   years of experience in the field or in a related area


Education

· High   school diploma or GED


Technical Skills

· Intermediate   knowledge of computers, machine setup up, and operating experience


Physical Demands/Working   Conditions

· Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

· The noise level in the work environment is usually high

· Personal protective equipment is required including   but not limited to gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
