Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Foxhall Women's Health. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our practice and enhancing patient experiences.

Responsibilities

•  Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
•  Measure and record vital signs accurately.
•  Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and explaining procedures.
•  Organize follow-up care and instructions for patients with abnormal test results
•  Process and handle lab specimens.
•  Administer injections and perform basic lab tests as directed.
•  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area.
•  Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health systems.
•  Cross train in providing medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.

Schedule:

•  8 hour shift
•  Monday to Friday

Requirements

•  Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.
