Job Summary:

The Warehouse Operations Assistant is a multi-functional role responsible for supporting the daily flow of materials, production, and facility maintenance. This position requires a mix of technical skill—specifically forklift operation and inventory data entry—and hands-on labor, including product finishing and warehouse organization.

This job has hours of 10 am to 6 pm.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Safely operate a forklift to load/unload shipments and move heavy materials throughout the facility.

· Accurately pull products for outgoing orders based on pick sheets

· Band, palletize, and shrink-wrap products to ensure they are secure for transit

· Move materials between production stages and warehouse storage areas to maintain an efficient workflow.

· Use the warehouse management system to track material movements, update inventory counts, and process orders.

· Operate machinery to grind plastic products for reprocessing

· Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed and directed

· Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor

COMPETENCIES:

· Strong attention to detail, along with effective communication and teamwork skills. 

· Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment

· Proven experience driving a forklift

· Comfortable using a computer system for data entry and material tracking
