Description

The Bartender at Wellington National Holdings LLC is responsible for providing high-quality beverage service to members and guests within the country club and golf course facilities. This role involves preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring a premium hospitality experience that aligns with the club's standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and club specifications. 

· Interact with members and guests in a professional, friendly, and attentive manner to take orders and provide recommendations. 

· Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including garnishes, glassware, and supplies. 

· Process transactions through the Point of Sale (POS) system, including member charges and credit card payments. 

· Observe guest alcohol consumption and strictly adhere to all state and local liquor laws and safety protocols. 

· Complete opening and closing duties, such as inventory counts, restock preparation, and securing beverage storage. 

· Assist with banquet and special event beverage service as needed.

· Perform other duties as assigned. 

Required Skills & Abilities: 

· Knowledge of mixology, wine, craft beer, and spirits. 

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills tailored for a private club environment. 

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. 

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

· Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

· Previous experience as a bartender in a country club, resort, or upscale restaurant environment is highly preferred. 

· Current local food handler and alcohol service certifications.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. 

· Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move items such as kegs, glass racks, and cases of beverages weighing up to 50 lbs. 

· Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping to access supplies and clean the bar area. 

Work Environment:

· Ability to work in a noisy environment

Additional Requirements:

· Must meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages in the local jurisdiction.
