Beverage Cart Attendant
Description

We are seeking an energetic and guest-focused Beverage Cart Attendant to join our on-course service team. This role is responsible for delivering refreshments and exceptional hospitality to members and guests throughout the golf course. The ideal candidate brings a friendly attitude, a respect for golf course etiquette, and the ability to work independently in an outdoor environment. As a highly visible, guest-facing position, the Beverage Cart Attendant must maintain a professional and cheerful demeanor at all times.

The Club at Rolling Hills is nestled into South Table Mountain in Golden, Colorado. Our wonderful facilities and beautiful front range location make the Club one of the premier private Clubs in the Denver Metro area. While the setting is outstanding, the pride and joy of our Club is our membership and staff. The right candidate must maintain a cheerful attitude and always present themselves in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the beverage cart around the course, stopping at golfer groups to offer beverages, snacks, and basic merchandise in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Load, unload, and restock the cart daily with ice, beverages, and food items; monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock to management.
  • Accurately process payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash transactions, and reconcile daily sales reports.
  • Adhere to all local and state liquor laws, including monitoring alcohol consumption and identifying guests who may be intoxicated.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections at the start and end of each shift (fuel/charge levels, tire pressure) and maintain a clean, organized cart throughout the day.
  • Provide members and guests with friendly information about course layout, upcoming events, and Club amenities to enhance their overall experience.
  • Observe proper golf course etiquette at all times to avoid disrupting play while navigating the course.
Requirements
  • Must meet the state's minimum age requirement to serve alcohol.
  • Valid driver's license required to operate the motorized cart.
  • Valid food handler's card or alcohol service certification (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS, or Smart Serve) as required by local law.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift moderately heavy items (25–50 lbs), such as cases of beverages or bags of ice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Basic math proficiency for handling cash and calculating change accurately.
  • Proficiency with POS systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality, food service, or customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with golf course operations, etiquette, and terminology.
  • Experience in a private club or upscale hospitality environment.
Salary Description
$25-$30 per hour
