As an Irrigation & Lighting Team Member, you will be an essential part of our team and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation and low-voltage lighting systems for our clients. You will work collaboratively with the Team Leader and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, to a high standard, and with a focus on client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

• Support your Team Leader with completing irrigation services, including system installation, repairs, winterization, and spring start-up tasks.
• Support your Team Leader with completing lighting services, including low-voltage system installation, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Work as part of a team under the direction of the Team Leader and Irrigation & Lighting Manager.
• Communicate effectively with team members and report progress on tasks.

Equipment & Tool Management:

• Ensure all irrigation and lighting equipment is maintained, stored, and used safely and effectively.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or repairs that need to be made to the Team Leader.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including those specific to electrical work and working with underground utilities.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for the task.

Skills & Qualifications

• Effective verbal communication.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT Medical Certification.
• Availability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
• Strong time management skills.
• Knowledge with construction machines/equipment, tools, and materials.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Weekends and extended hours as needed)
• Seasonal Position from April - November
