As the Public Health Compliance Associate you will be the first point of contact to ensure that retail guests are abiding by our local public health requirements during peak sales periods.

This position will primarily interact with guests of Arapahoe Sports to inform and ensure proper mask wearing and keep count of guests inside the store to comply with local public health guidelines. The position will entail outdoor monitoring at the entrance of Arapahoe Sports store and an outdoor uniform will be provided. Occasionally this position may assist in other tasks of a retail associate.

This position is Part-Time and is required to work weekends.

Starting Pay: $13 per hour

Essential Responsibilities:

• Monitor the entrance of the Arapahoe Sports store and ensure that all guests entering comply with public health ordered mask wearing.
• Count guests that enter and exit the Arapahoe Sports store to maintain the public health ordered capacity inside the store.
• Answer guest questions about Arapahoe Sports and general Arapahoe Basin information.
• Hand out disposable masks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned which could include shoveling snow, assisting guests with retail related issues.

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate verbally with guests.

Experience Requirements:

• Guest Relations experience

Skills Required:

• Must be able to communicate verbally with guests and co-workers.
• Strong customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be willing to be outside for duration of 8-hour shift.
• Use full range of body motion: bend, twist, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Withstand high altitude conditions at all times.

Other Requirements:

• Must be available to work holidays and weekends as needed.

Work Environment:

• You will work almost 100% of the time outdoors in a high-altitude environment. Most work is performed in a highly trafficked area in view of guests. A very frequent amount of guest interaction is involved in this role.
