Description

The Non-Inventory Manager is primarily responsible for supervising or performing tasks involving the general upkeep and maintenance of all NPSG Global supplies and equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and mentoring inventory staff at various sites to ensure they follow safety protocols and use technology appropriately. This role will require 100% travel.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain automated supply system for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipment.
  • Supervise and mentor staff.
  • Train and provide development opportunities for staff.
  • Develop inventory staff schedule.
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle.
  • Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an inventory role.
  • Experience training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Able to use a computer and other office technology.
  • Knowledgeable of inventory software.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.
  • Good communication skills.

Helpful Skills:

  • Interest in mathematics, bookkeeping, accounting, business administration and/or typing.
  • Strong and proven ability to keep accurate records.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Work Environment:

  • Employee will be exposed to an open warehouse where the noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud.
  • The work site is a warehouse/distribution environment.
  • The warehouse environment is typically in the construction phase and personal protective equipment (PPE) must always be used including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
  • Safety shoes with composite toe reinforcement required.
